Re: Today I Received...
OK this is a couple of days late, but I have received a couple of small parcels with issues of QUANTA, QL Today and QL World (the Arcwind years) I know they're on-line but I prefer hard copy. Much of the content isn't that interesting to me - pages of assembler code, how to do various mathematical s...

Re: Marmite
I'm working my way through a bulk buy or jars of peanut butter and marmite.
Very yummy on toast.
I use marmite in cooking as well.
Vegemite I tried. A long time ago. It may taste good down under but the right way up it's horrid.

Re: Q68 Order Process
Hi Derek Have watched the video on youtube, and read your comments on it. The Q68 is a very nifty piece of kit. Price is very reasonable as well. Please can you add me to the list of people interested in buying one, with a case :) Many thanks. The new video shows a PS/2 - USB converter. Would I be c...

Wanted : QL Adventures by Bridge and Williams
Or in full : "QL Adventures : a micro adventurers handbook" by Tony Bridge and Richard Williams. There was a review in QLAF 4, and it looks like I had a copy 30 years ago, but I sold all my QL books a long time ago. Has sample game and game engine. Did anyone manage to contact them about p...

Re: Richard Alexander (CGH Services)
Talking of QL Adventurers Forum, I see someone has decided to cash in on their rarity value and is asking for £5.00 a copy on eBay. I was following the auction for a big bundle of mags that included them but didn't push the price up. If they sell quickly I'm tempted to download the .pdfs and run a f...

Re: Is QUANTA stil alive / accepting members?
I seem to remember it being said in another place that QUANTA was on hiatus due to COVID-19. I dunno if any of the sub-groups are still active but there's no chance of anyone meeting-up with all the lockdowns etc. (Also applies to committee meetings, AGM etc.) (Anyone ever got a webcam to work with ...
