Re: Four hard drives on the same Qbide

Giorgio, I can confirm it is possible to use four drives on qubide even up to 32 drives. This is exactly why I started the qubata driver for qubide but you need also a little add-on hardware using the expander connector (only old original qubide has this feaure). I don't know if this kind of add-on...

Re: Four hard drives on the same Qbide

Yes this is possible. The drives do have to be master/slave pairs to the older ATA specs. Nasta's new QubIDE design does include four IDE ports to support single devices under later ATA specs. I'll post more when I have more details in front of me. I seem to recall it was a small PCB with one IC. I...

Four hard drives on the same Qbide

Many years ago I read somewhere that it was possible to connect 4 hard drives on the same Qbide, an Italian user has confirmed to me that "Nasta" demonstrated this to some meeting.
None of us remember the details, where can I find information about it?
Thanks in advance to everyone.

Re: Mawdraw problem (easyptr4)

This is just a proof of concept. I have not tested what happens when a list needs to scroll up or down. If it's a single column list you want, you could adopt what I do in SuQcess with Viewing a record with subfields. The list can be scrolled (set the main window to a minimum) and each line is a fi...

Re: Mawdraw problem (easyptr4)

I'm trying to do something different, you print the string after clicking, I need to present a list in which each element is divided into several lines, to scroll through this list and eventually select an element Giorgio This is just a proof of concept. I have not tested what happens when a list n...

Re: Mawdraw problem (easyptr4)

Hi, do you think it is possible to format a single item of an application window menu so that it always appears as a single element but divided into two lines? I tried to insert chr $ (10) inside an element of an arrray like this: a $ (0) = "Hi" & chr $ (10) & "John" but...
