Cheers folks. Lots of info to go on. I'll probably sacrifice the Microdrives and serial ports for the time being and just make sure it's alive.
I've been looking at the schematics and a PSU project could be on the cards soon. :)

I'd rather not use the microdrives, but i'm still looking at alternatives for now. Serial ports, probably not.

PSU alternative?

My recently acquired QL didn't come with a power supply and finding one is proving very difficult. Is there another way of powering it? I don't mind some soldering/modding if needed.

Hi all, I'm Glenn from Fife, Scotland. I've just bought my first QL and i'm looking forward to seeing what it can do. I'm not new to Sinclair. Like many people I started out over 30 years ago with a 48k Spectrum before moving onto a 128 and then Atari ST, but i've always fancied a QL since I saw one...
