Re: charConvert a char conversion prog for Windows
Version 1.1.02 is now available on my homepage. I have also prepared two additional *.ini files for converting from QDOS/SMS/QPC2 to Windows and vice versa. Unfortunately not all conversions are included, but at least for German users they should be quite usefull.

Re: charConvert a char conversion prog for Windows
Hi Martyn, Hi there In answer to your grammatical question, 'shall' would be more correct than 'will', due to the use of the conditional-future tense, though we rarely pick-up on such things in English these days :-) Thank You! AFAICR I have learned in school (5th class or so), when using "I&qu...

Re: charConvert a char conversion prog for Windows
// Edited: Typos charConvert has been updated to Version 1.0.2 The format for substitutions has changed (old *.ini files won't work anymore!). This is because, you formely can't make substitutions which have leading whitespace (like spaces, tabulators, ...). Old: £=£ New: £=:£ Note the colon after t...

QL-Expansion slot, where to get the edge connector?
Does anyone know, where the connectors of the QL expansion bus are available, edge (male) and socket (female) connectors (both with and without 90 degrees angle) so you can build a backplane with more than one slot?

Re: Replacement microdrive pads what to use
What is the problem with the Microdrive pads? I think yours are meaning the "felt" which presses the tape to the write head? I have now had a look to my old cartridges (from the middle of the eighties - then I had 2x720 KB floppies), they (the pads) are still there and seem to be in good c...

Unfortunately I do not know - if they were both written by the same person then the answer is probably YES. I wasn't involved in the original contact with the copyright holders for Computer One - Dilwyn might know? I have now had a look into the manual. Author is Tony Cheal (as for normal C1 Monito...
