Indeed. But do you know TopoR? I guess it could produce at least similar boards https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TopoR :-)

Re: QL Mouse cable connections

I'm starting to realise how challenging this is. The mice I am using are all serial PC mice from the early 1990's so nothing modern and I have tried them using my ICE cartridge and using my Tetroid adapter with SMSQ/E software on CF card with the pointer drivers installed. I'll just have to soldier...

You know what, that's cool, too. I might try it sometime, thanks.

Re: Knoware.no

<> Well, on my system I sync the stuffer buffer with the scrap and the scrap with the Windows clipboard, so even any Windows program could intervene :-P Thats news to me. On MY system QPC_SYNCSCRAP only updates the Scrap Thing. The stuffer buffer is not involved. I dont see any reason to have it an...

Re: Knoware.no

Now, if you can point me to some program, working in the background, without user intervention, that could at any moment change the stuffer buffer contents, that would worry me. In fact I would get rid of that program immediately and write to all my QLing friends recommending they do the same! I re...

Re: SuperCharge source code

Regarding SuperCharge source code, to get back on topic, I posted what I thought was an apposite piece of information above, but that apparently evoked zero interest, so I have nothing further I wish to add. I thought it was interesting, but I've also nothing to add. As far as I know Turbo is in ev...

Ha, at least you caught it, that would have been difficult to debug remotely ;) Glad it works now!

Re: New discovery? 'Life' by CAT Systems Ltd

OK, I had a little go with it on a real QL. There's a bug in the startup code which might make it stop with an error, as a workaround one can change line 9310 to "CALL address,0,-1". It should also work with QDOS under some circumstances as it not only switches colour mode mid-screen, the ...

Re: New discovery? 'Life' by CAT Systems Ltd

I think there is more to it than meets the eye. As far as I can see it makes use of the second screen, meaning Minerva is needed. And it seems to switch mode mid-screen, meaning that the top part is displayed in mode 4 and the actual life part is displayed in mode 8. Quite tricky and will not work i...

Re: Iss. 5 resurrected, but flickering/freezing

RGB scart cable? There's basically no other component between the ZX8301 and the RGB output (which is why it so often dies)... the only other component involved is the RGB connector, maybe that has contact problems?
