Re: QL Software Preservation - Next Steps

Hi RWAP (and outsoft) I don't mean to be rude but You sent to me a private mail because I'm one of Spanish guys that "attacked" you in spanish forum. I decided not write a reply because I don't have enough english level to make a good reply of your reproaches. But I see today that you stil...

Re: Does ICE ROM recognize WIN1 drives

Hi I don't know if ICE ROM is the same that ICE system software. If it's the same, I tested 1.6 version and I found it's nice. You can change MDV1 /FLP1 /RAM1 to WIN1 and it works. The problem is that it can't handle directories so you can click in a executable but if you click in a directory nothin...

Re: WIN extensions

Hi José, no need to cut down TK223, with standard rom (JS) there was enough spare room, see attached. If you use foreign language ROM version let me know. Also works on QEMUlator if you split rom (see zip file). (Minvera ROM hasn't enough spare space to do same. IIRC 330 bytes spare). Tested in a Si...

Re: WIN extensions

Hi
cool!. I test this tk223_bin in my ql+qubide and works ok. :-)

One question. I would like to have this tk233_bin in rom format ( My Qls has a 64K eprom with standard rom + tk ). Is it possible?

Thanks

Re: WIN extensions

Hi My two cents. I think that we talk about two types of TK2. One type is for standards QL where you put it in 48-64K rom zone o using ram. I use some of them from Dilwyn's site and none of them show ">" with qubide. The other TK2 type is the one that comes with Gold card, super gold card ...

How to destroy a PC keyboard to use it in a Sinclair QL

Hi all Happy new year :-) These days I've been on holiday and I had time to make a project that I was thinking quite some time. The project may seem a waste of time because you have to spend time, effort and can be very expensive but if you're like me, you had an QL upper case with no keys, maybe it'...

Re: cant run files using qubide

Hi I think you are not doing well the process to pass program to Qubide. I say that because you said: I have tried unzipping via Habi's image editor and standard unzip programs but it doesnt seem to make a difference. You never can use PC winzip because it destroy the QL header and then it happens w...

Re: Qubide. New list of people interested

Hi Vicent Hi Jose, Just wanted to thank you for all your support, I finally managed to get everything working on the qubide and sd adapter. Thanks for testing it for me, you were correct that the sd adapter I was using was faulty. Returned it and purchased another one from Amazon and it worked perfe...

Re: DOM

Hi

Many DOM and IDE adapters ( CF-IDE or SD-IDE) use IDE pin 20 ( an unused pin of standard IDE port) to get power.

My qubide clone has this functionality :-)
