As I just have written a new article (here), I have detected:
If you read the article from the same IP multiple times, the read counter of the article in the forum is increased. At least in PHP it's possible to ignore accesses from the same IP in one session or at a distinct time (say 1 minute or so).
I think it's important, to support/implement this, because:
Then it becomes much more difficult for spammers to present posts as interesting (because they have been read many times).
