I'm glad to share my last QL hardware project : The GC QL mouse adaptor.
This allow the use of a standard PS2/USB mouse with the QL.
It is connected to the QL via the CTL1 port (no hardware modifications are requested on the QL).
The 5V power come from a low power PSU or from the QL via the external ROM port.
NOTE : only PS2 compatible mouse (even USB) can be used. USB mode only mouse doesn't work with this board.

Thank you for sharing this project.
I presume that the mouse emulates cursor keys, like a joystick connected to CTL port?
The pcb-connector is very expensive at my local electronics shop , so i had to wait for the postman to arrive with better-priced alternatives.
Looks quite smart now .
Hopefully it will work too.
The pcb has a very good DIY layout , very roomy .
Thanks Gianni .
testing will be for ................ the next couple of weeks.
Has anyone finished this, from what I can see it is based around a PIC 16F84A microcontroller and a couple of 4066 doing a lot of switching, I assume some programming involved? Could be useful for other projects if it interfaces with the QL in-ports and a USB?
