Clive Sinclair was thinking about buying Lotus cars

I'm currently reading a book about the DeLorean car ('John Z, the DeLorean and Me' by Barrie Wills) and was surprised to read towards the end of the DeLorean saga that the author Barrie Wills was an advisor to Clive Sinclair, was involved in Clive Sinclair looking into buying a controlling stake in Lotus Cars Limited and was involved with the C5 development.
