Thanks. By the way, if only short routines need speedup, there is a 12 KB area of fast RAM at $19000 ... $1BFFF.
Code executed in that area usually runs several times faster and is not affected by video access.
At the moment, SMSQ/E uses only a small portion of the fast RAM, maybe the rest can be made available.

What about the power supply for Q68? Is it easy to get one in online store?

You said "several" times faster ?
Could you give examples with cycles consumption when accessing memory, if code is in this area ?
Should the data accessed also be in that area ?
This, for sure, is a capital info to take into account.

Power supply: Yes these are standard 5V devices with 2.1 mm coaxial connector. I think Derek will comment on this after his return.
Q68 execution speed from "fast RAM" region: Simple register to register instructions like ADD oder MOVE take 1 cycle, i.e. 25 ns
Please note there is no officially defined way for user programs to allocate memory there (yet).

I missed this kind of hw since I sold my fully working Q40!
I need to skip this. Made a bit of a problem with family :/
