Hi,

From SMSQ/E v3.36 Q40, Q60 WIN partitions, also known as QWA partitions can be used on QWA container files, and the QWA file can be used on a Flash drive connected to the IDE bus.

So transfer of data can be achieved by mounting the QWA file in a QL emulator: QPC2, SMSQmulator, Q68, sQLux, Q-EMulator (these are the ones I use) , and transfer the data to the Flash Drive QWA file. Put the Flash Drive into the Q40/60, nd the data can be accessed.

Shoestring Linux can access the QWA file with QLTools, or I used to use the emulator: uqlx on the Q60, and copy data from Q60 to Shoestring Linux.

Regards,

Derek
