Hi,
I always wanted one of these as a kid and now I've finally got one although not quite a kid anymore
Dare not power it on just yet. Any tips would be welcome on what to watch out for before powering up.

Re: Proud new owner of a QL
A warm welcome indeed. Not really many tips before powering it on - connect it to a TV or monitor before connecting the power lead. If you get the F1/F2 start up screen then you are half-way there - if pressing F1 or F2 do not start the QL, then you probably need a new keyboard membrane....
