Re: Happy QL Year
Hi Folks,
Back in the late 80's, I started investigating 3D pespective animations, but a 4Mhz QL really was too slow for comfort.
With Covid restrictions, and a much faster QPC2 system, I am looking again at the whole question.
So I dug out a forum text tumbler and rewrote it, so now it runs ok on my SGC, and should be ok on Qemulator too ?
Unzip, Load and LET line 230 PC=0 if you are not using an emulator. RUN and hit 'n' for a new run, or 's' to stop.
Meanwhile, I am revamping the whole 3D_perspective 'motor' interface, as I have started animating articulated objects in scenery.
The main problem is the vast number of DATA s for object x,z,z that need to be entered, using a great deal of memory, ( compatible with 128ko ? ).
More news as things develop....

Re: Happy QL Year
Hi Per,
Thanks for your kind remarks : I have a lot of progress to make to produce a user-friendly perspective animation interface !
Now here is a 'banner' made by using an old DIY-font enlarger program, which I seldom ever used !
Not exactly 3D perspective though...
Steve.

Happy new year everyone!
