I've heard that Charles Ingly from New Zealand produced it.
Thanks a lot to all that can help me.
Best regards.
Wanted: I need a twisted external Microdrive cable
Re: Wanted: I need a twisted external Microdrive cable
I just use a longer standard one - carefully remove the connectors and add around 30cm of ribbon cable - that just lets you stand it on top of a QL or if you have two connected together just behind - see photo (the extra length does not seem to affect operation but, your mileage may vary):

Where I can find a long one dear?
Re: Wanted: I need a twisted external Microdrive cable
Sorry,
I made mine several years ago from an existing one. It is quite fiddly to open them (care with a small screwdriver) and then re-close - you need to use a vice to get a nice even pressure - or the proper insulation displacement tools of course. If you don't have new ribbon cable a length cut down (it just tears easily into smaller sizes from a floppy drive or the old 40pin HD IDE cable will be fine.
