SOLD 2 x Small QL Interfaces

Post by RWAP »

I have been having a bit of a sort out this morning....

Is anyone interested in either of the following small interfaces?

One is a replacement for the QL ROMs - it has an EPROM labelled with MGU + ICE (presumably the MGUK ROM and ICE ROM).

The other is a batter backup for the clock - I am not sure whch chip this plugs under - the 8302?

Both are untested - £5 each plus postage....

I have a small pile of those battery back up PCBs. They were designed by a US trader, I believe. That is where I obtained the blanks. Unfortunately, they came without a parts list or any instructions, so if someone has one of these working and/or instructions, I'd be interested in the details.

if I well remember electrical drawing of issue 5 and 6 of ql board, the 8302 ula has real time clock inside, so that chip goes on battery pcb; on 8302, pin 40 is supply voltage of real time clock; it is very close to qimi with battery included interface and on that qimi I have inserted ula 8302 and in effect real time clock works fine :)

Only original hardware! :)
