Pyramide Software - Some Freeware

Post by RWAP »

Good news.

I have now received confirmation from Daniele Purlich (who owns Pyramide) to release the following utilites as freeware:

Illusions
QL Remember
QLovis
The Integrator
Transfer_x (Drawing package)
Tridim (3D Computer aided design)
Tortue-LOGO (Implementation of LOGO Programming language)
Graphic Toolkit (Range of additional commands for making the most of the QL's screen and graphics).
Nucleon (Set of programming utilities)
Peintre (Icon driven graphics drawing program)
The Designer (Computer Aided Design package)

I have the following titles preserved (and have sent them to Dilwyn to add to the QL Homepage):
Nucleon, Peintre, Graphic Toolkit and The Designer

Does anyone have any of the others?

Oops - missed a couple of things..

The AZERTY ROM - see http://qlforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1011
I need to make a ROM dump of that...

And also Troll - this is a dungeons type adventure creator.
Originally in French, thanks to Steve Poole, we did some conversion to English, but the program seems to be unfinished - it is all in SuperBASIC and the only manual is in French, so could make a nice little project (I have sent this to Dilwyn also). :D

Bag of Tricks 1 & 2 can now also be added to the list.

Daniele thinks there was a Bag of Tricks 3 if anyone has a copy!

Hi Rich,
Translating the TROLL program was not possible without the program manual. Does anyone have a copy?
Steve.

Oh - that reminds me, yes, I found a copy of the manual and have it here (in French of course).

Steve - pm me your postal address and I will send it to you (it is a photocopy which probably would not scan very well)

Thanks to Dilwyn all of the Pyramide freeware we have has now been added to the Sinclair QL Homepage - see http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/history.html - however, we still need to find:

Illusions
QL Remember
QLovis
The Integrator
Transfer_x (Drawing package)
Tridim (3D Computer aided design)
Tortue-LOGO (Implementation of LOGO Programming language)

In recognition of this, is anyone willing to work on Mr Smith and remove the copy protection, so that it can be re-released commercially? :D

Warning - it is not an easy program to remove the copy protection!

Rich, I will have a try, as I volunteered to Preservation Project. I plan to use C1Monitor for it, not sure if that is a good idea. Not sure I will succeed as I have no experience with QL copy protection so far.

Hmm it seems that one of the files on my Mr Smith may be corrupt - does anyone have a working copy?
