Does anyone know if this device got off the ground and was actually sold (I don't know if Tony from the then TF Services follows this forum)

From what i can gather it was a 'QL' based system that primarily could be connected to a host Computer and once programmed could be disconnected to run independently. It had 68020 CPU, multipurpose i/o no keyboard, no disk drive storage, no display, 2M RAM, communication was through the serial ports. I got the impression from the description it was a kind of PLC based system design to run independently but using a Minerva ROM and SuperBASIC as its core language although other languages (compiled or otherwise) were possible. It sounded a really exciting project, there maybe further info in later issues, however I haven't read those yet. No pics, so an artist impression is below.

I'm looking through the old QL Today's that came on the special DVD and the iBox is mentioned in Vol 3 Issue 3 Sept/Oct 1998
