Sandy SuperQBoard HD

Post by mk79 »

Hi everybody,

I described my quest for a HD capable Sandy SuperQBoard here:

https://www.kilgus.net/2018/01/09/sandy ... now-in-hd/

Enjoy ;) (I will monitor this thread, too, in case there are comments/questions)

Good job.

The VL1772 are far more reliable double clocked than the WD1772. That's why I bought huge stocks of them for the SQBv4.

Hi Marcel,

I have a SuperQBoard, like yours without the Mouse components soldered in, I was going upgrade it, along with the ROM. Maybe I could include your HD Disk upgrade.

I was not sure how the Mouse connector looked on the board. All is clear now.

Regards,

Derek

Hi Derek,

I've got 8 or so PCBs from China, I can put one in an envelope for you if you want. The ROM probably needs a bit more work to intelligently fill the rest of the 32kb ROM.

Hi Marcel,

I have a little work to do at present, but I would like to get my SuperQ Mouse board upgraded to have the mouse working, I have all the required modification details and Sandy ROM required to support the Mouse hardware.

Regards,

Derek
