Re: SuperGoldCard Update
I am relatively sure Ingot versions and ROM versions need to be aligned.
(And a newer Ingot seems to be nearly impossible to get)

Re: SuperGoldCard Update
I think it should be possible - I have a spare 2.49 ROM here (for the cost of postage) if you want to try it...

Re: SuperGoldCard Update
I had a look at the v2.49 rom many years ago and it goes to a lot of trouble to set itself up for either the Gold card 68000 or Super Gold card 68020.
So I replaced my GC v2.23 with copy of SGC v2.49 and has been working OK since 2002. It also adds to the GC the SGC commands to use battery backed RTC chip to memorise bits (AUTO_TK2F1 etc).
The only Ingot differences I am aware of are on GC mk3 hardware prevents the POKE to change from 16Mz to 24MHz.
Perhaps the later rom versions work OK with earlier ingots, but not necessarily the other way around.
Never understood how they got GC 16MHz from 24MHz crystal though (with correct duty cycle).
