Qdosmsq.dunbar-it.co.uk is down!

Post by NormanDunbar »

Looks like 1 and 1 have lost the A record settings for my "qdosmsq" subdomain so any attempt to access my blog (qdosmsq.dunbar-it.co.uk/blog) or wiki (qdosmsq.dunbar-it.co.uk) or my downloadable stuff (qdosmsq.dunbar-it.co.uk/downloads) will, unfortunately, fail at the moment.

Even worse, at the moment it is proving impossible to get logged in to my control panel to fix it. I wonder if 1 and 1 are being DOSsed again. Bloody nuisance this computing stuff - and always when the equipment I have to hand, my phone, is at its least useful. Sigh.

Normal service might be resumed shortly ....

Cheers,
Norm.

By the might of the 1 and 1 Android app, I have restored my A record and qdosmsq is once more available.

Fun? No, not in the slightest. I've had problems all evening trying to get online to fix this, and in the end did it in 5 minutes by installing the app. That includes the time to install it too!

Cheers,
Norm.
