This one made me smile. Always thought the original QL also needed an external display

Re: RTC Query
If you simply want an NTP client for the Q68, there's a tiny one here: https://github.com/tofro/Q68NTP Cool. Which network driver do you use? Obviously won't help anyone who wants to set their QL clock :) Which brings up the QL ethernet question again - with a CP2200 the Q68 stuff could be mostly r...
Re: QIMSI
Indeed. I have been using that one for a long time, until I moved all my QLs to SMSQ/E. It basically behaves the same as the history device in the newer OS (some marginal differences that you need to get used to). Recommended. These are indeed "must haves" for non-SMS systems, as long as ...

I know, these are the ones I seeked to replace.ql_freak wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 2:02 am This one: https://dilwyn.qlforum.co.uk/tk/history123.zip and this one: https://dilwyn.qlforum.co.uk/tk/history127.zip.
Re: RTC Query
Here's a link to such an adapter kit: https://www.horter-shop.de/de/i2c-pc-adapter/41-bausatz-i2c-rs232-koppler-4260404260547.html (Note I haven't tried wether that works with the QL, but don' see much reason why it shouldn't. These things seem to be doing the level shifting and clock generation, t...
Re: QIMSI
I think it's some sort of confusion here. The driver FSH (which includes PTH in it's installation kit) is the one that has a built-in commandline history No thanks. I do not want a different, Forth programmable commandline interface. Just saw the chance for an alternative history for the normal QDO...
Re: QIMSI
https://dilwyn.qlforum.co.uk/tk/history127.zip I know that one of course (and it has problems). Instead I asked for a link to PTH which allegedly has built-in commandline history, according to ql_freak. Another good extension is ALIAS by Simon Goodwin, in the Volume A DIY Toolkit Series. https://di...
Re: QIMSI
Alos look at PTH, which is a Path search extension, all very flexible. This is IMHO the BEST file utility ever. It's one of the first things I install. Would be a good improvement for QPC2. HISTORY-Device (first implemented by Boris Jakubith, Berlin), Named Pipes (first implementation I know of: Er...

Re: Minerva4Q68
Given this fact, you do an amazing job!janbredenbeek wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 9:55 pm In addition, there is little documentation available about the internals of the built-in drivers, other than the (scarcely commented) source code.
