Re: QL Menu Generator
One of the best news of the year! Thank you. This is one chance to try to take QLiberater itself a bit further. I have not actually looked, So is QLiberator, A QLiberated SuperBASIC program? I looked on Dilwyn's Web site to see if the sources are available, But there was no mention of them. So I gu...

Re: Message for dden
Drat, just after sending I realised it would have been better to send that as a PM to him.
Sorry, been a stressful week.

Message for dden
David (dden) - thanks for sending me the Shapes package. Unfortunately, the zip file seems corrupt and my attempts to reply to your email seem to bounce back. Could you please check the zip file and send again?
Thanks,
Dilwyn

Re: My Sinclair QL Workstation running ...
Thank you Max, nice video showing Launchpad in action. A small point - some of the icons seem to launch a boot program which installs extensions while Launchpad is running. Launchpad is a normal job, and installing extensions while a job is running is not normally a good move, as it risks something ...

So where's the rocket-propelled C5 then? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0UOaBVy61E Or a jet-powered C5? http://www.jetpower.co.uk/jet-powered-sinclair-c5/ or the "Monster Truck" C5? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2124408/Pimp-Sinclair-C5-Plumber-turns-electric-wheeler-40-mph-mo...

Re: Running game "Werner" under uQLx
Trying to use QDOS Unzip and Zip on QemuLator in Windows is a slow painful death, where it takes several minutes to just read an archive - it just sits there showing "reading zip file catalogue" for ages. That is very strange. I use Zipman and never had to wait more than a few seconds (on...

Re: Running game "Werner" under uQLx
QEmulator has added (all in good faith, I suppose) another level of complexity to the topic of QL file headers. When you copy a QL executable to a non-QDOS file system, the 64-byte header that belongs to the file is normally lost. Daniele has devised a scheme that packs the header in front of the a...

Re: WXQT2
I just dowloaded it from your site and on my WIn10 system it works - I set Run in compatibility mode Win 95 - and it starts without any problems I do not know if it is relevant or not - after each Win10 upgrade I also install a patch (win10_rs4_patch), otherwise my Samsung scanner does not work. So...

WXQT2
Anyone had any success getting WXQT2 (file transfer) to work on Windows recently (Win7 or 10) ? It used to work fine on my system (well, it would work but the Help files wouldn't, which didnt matter too much), but a recent Windows update seems to have stopped that. Now it just quietly dies as it sta...

Re: QL Commander - Graphic Issue -
At start QLCommander checks the command line for the parameter that defines the home directory and device In your case you should start QLC with : EX win2_QLC_qlc_obj;win2_qlc_ My guess is that Launchpad starts it without the command line parameter - and QLCommander looks for the default device and...
