Re: Lunar lander and UDG generally

Hi, I tired the game in sQLux and Q-emulator, the UDGs are not defined if the RAM s greater than 256K. Lunar.png The actual programme does not run very well, i fact I would say the author does not understand the QL graphics setup, he is poke-ing into the channel table, which, is no a good idea. It w...

Re: Can a QL do donkey Kong sounds?

You could look at this web site:https://mrcook.uk/arcade-game-source-code

The challenge would be to convert the Z80, 6502 or other CPU to 68000. Then make run on a QL.

Re: QL2k speed change

Or use sQLux, sQLay3, all work with every version of QDOS rom.

sQLux has a Slug command to allow the emulator down.

There are free, but Q-emulatoris good as well, registration is well worth the money.

Re: Most probably the smallest "QL" ever!

Hi,

Looks great, I could only find £75 plus postage to UK, on Aliexpress.

I wonder if they would reduce the price supplying without Windows.

But importation into the EU would probably require an extra 20% on top.

Re: Most probably the smallest "QL" ever!

Hi,

This is similar to an Intel Compute Stick, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Compute_Stick

Windows 10 could be removed and Linux put on with the same functionality as Windows, except runs faster.

Another good extension is ALIAS by Simon Goodwin, in the Volume A DIY Toolkit Series.

And REDIR by Phil Borman allows redirecting devices.

Re: QIMSI

And one more question. How do I prepare a new empty WIN container on SD card with QPC II QL simulator? Hi, If you look at Page 27, of the QPC2 manual, in the section WIN Disks You can setup the WIN Drives in the devices section of the WINx drive to be formatted, this does not have to exist. Or use ...
