Hi,
I wonder if the video signal comming out of the VGA socket on thd Q60 board could be fed into a dedicated video processing circuit to changed the required sync signsls of the Q60 into the required signals for a modetn VGA monitor.
Which assume is what the OSSC does.

Blessed are the nay-sayers for the future is theirs! (Or is it?) In the mean time we wait for some test results from Derek. See where we go from there.. Sorry, a little delay, had some other problems to attend to. My house Electric circuit breakers kept on tripping. The fault was traced to Clothes ...

Re: QLTerminal v2.35 with TheOldNet WiFi v4
Hi,
If you can type AT and get OK back, the modem is connected to the computer correctly.
You can get information of the modem configuration and connections using the ATI command.
Type: ATIx where x = 0 to 3
i.e. AT0 or ATI1
The sparse manual says AT? gives list of the commands.

Hi,
Can you try switching off the local echo, with ATE0
Also try AT? for a list of the commands.
This is guesswork, as I do no have this modem.

Yes it was a bit pricey but I wasn't able to spend on much else, and if you think about the price of the scan doubler to what I paid for...

Hi,
Can you not make a image file and use MDI to load from QIMSI.
If the game is too large for a MDV image, then use FDI.

Re: Serial port confusion.
Hi,
You can set the Baud rate of the serial port to the maximum, using the S*Basic BAUD command, then set the Modem Baud Rate to the maximum the modem supports and can connect from the BBS.

Re: Serial port confusion.
The wiring diagram, detailed above works perfectly with SER2 and the Simulant WIFI Mode,, for SER1 an interchange of the contol lines is required.
I thought about having a switchable serial cable to switch between SER1/2, I have get a proto-type made.
A simple cable from QIMSI SER3 would also work.

Re: PiStorm
I have an Amiga A500, with a PiSorm that just needs setting up, I can try it with QDOS Classic. That would be an important check. If possible, please try the qdos-gcc compiled Dhrystone benchmark on both EMU68 and Musashi. Hi, I have got qdos-gcc compiled on my Linux computer, so I can try compilin...
