Re: QL Commercial Software Preservation
Software preservation is always a really good idea 8-) . Leaving all copyright issues for debate at another time/date/thread... :? Is there an existing list of all known QL software (or in this case, QL commercial software)? :?: I suspect not, so is there even a partial list (or more than on...

Re: Converting software from Q-emuLator to QLAY
Hmm, well Mr_Navigator opened the door a little, I pushed it open to see what the noise was, then dilwyn comes in and blows the house down! Having worked out his frustration, next he's laying bricks for a new building! I am well aware that some file systems hold important file information using diff...

Re: Converting software from Q-emuLator to QLAY
Dilwyn, you could count an aliens hexadecimal fingers the number of times the dreaded zip explanation has been recounted :D So why the flip did the QL zip files not end up with a nice "qip" or "qlp" extension? Would have saved a lot of confusion... 'Tis strange how some retro co...

QL PCB Pictures
While routing through a box of bits, I found this :P (And yes, I was looking for it, having remembered which box it had been stored in ;)). http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5540/12156087646_9587a1a1a4_d.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5540/12156087646_698c8a4236_o.jpg Nearly bare QL issue 6 PCB ( sav...

http://tcg.speccy.cz/zoom/ql/pics/ql_eprom_module.png That address is no longer valid, it has been changed to http://z00m.speccy.cz/quantumleap.html However I haven't looked for the EPROM details you were after, but I did find something else interesting Here http://z00m.speccy.cz/ql/pics/ql_eprom_m...

Re: I wonder what these are for?
R59 is clearly marked on my board. It is under the heat sink next to the modulator. Where is this resistor that you are having a problem with?

Re: I wonder what these are for?
I can say with full clarity, that the resistor value is ohms
Also that R47 is 2.2K, R96 is 2.2k, do you want any other random resistors that have a colour code starting red, red ?
