Re: Graphics program for SMSQ/E

I tried to get 4.04 to work in QPC2 in mode 32 with QPC_QLSCREMU 4 in full HD resolution, but no luck. Some things work, others dont. Mostly they dont. If the source code were available I guess it wouldnt be impossible to fix. It appears to me that the author uses mostly clean code. But he doesnt on...

Re: Graphics program for SMSQ/E

Hi Folks, I see that eight other people have downloaded the zip file... Has anyone managed to execute the 'QDesign' file in the BOOT file yet ? (using QPC2). I get as far as line 65, where I get a 'bad parameter' signalled, but can't find a workaround ! <> I played it safe and ran it in Q-emulator....

Re: Graphics program for SMSQ/E

OK, I didn't know it's already contained in QL/E, so I actually managed to track down the author of QDesign, Jörg Schiemann, who has graciously agreed to make it freely available. I have added the latest version v4.04 to my QPCDemo.win and also attached a ZIP here. Unfortunately the source code for...

Re: Graphics program for SMSQ/E

Unchanged, it should also still work on a plain QL with PE, and possibly on QPC2 etc in mode 4, 512x256. For the rest, replace the top few lines with these to (sort of) get it to run under QPC2 in other configurations. My QPC2 was running in mode 32, 1920x1080. Before this tweak it used to totally c...

Re: Graphics program for SMSQ/E

There is DP's Eye-Q. Dont know if its any good (a long time since I used it) or if it works with SMSQ. Where can I find Eye-Q? I could not find it on Dilwyn's site. I guess its not freeware. Qptr came with a sample paint program, paint_bas, I think. Yes, it does. But if it's the same Paint that is ...

Re: Graphics program for SMSQ/E

Which is the best graphics program to use on SMSQE ? One that would work correctly both on QPC and on BBQL mode 4 and 8 and prefarably uses the mouse Most of the programs I tried are not usable on QPC because of the high speed and using SLUG is not always a viable option. There is DP's Eye-Q. Dont ...

Qliberator is really excellent now, after all the work done, well done.
Youre welcome for my part, but most of the work was done by others. All those I know about are mentioned in flp1_readme_txt

Re: Q-Liberator v3.45

Version 3.45 of the Q-Liberator BASIC compiler has been launched.<> Yes, the "a" in V3.45a is a mistake. It was because this was originally intended as a tentative release. I sent out copies to various interested parties for their comments, feedback and to see whether there might be any p...

Re: Q-Liberator v3.45

it needs to be used on a system which support level 2 filing system Therefore it cannot be used with Trumpcard, am I right? In any case, great job Per! Sure it can be used with TxxxxCard. You just need to copy it to another disk without "hard" directories. I cant see any advantage to usin...

Whoops! A bit of late Friday night brain fog!
Thanks, Andrew, for your patience :)
There were reasons why I stumbled down this particular rabbit hole. But since no actual rabbits were found I shant waste any more time with excuses or explanations.
