Re: Dynamic program loading in SuperBASIC
Not sure if it applies to LOAD/LRUN, it specifically mentions MERGE.

Re: Dynamic program loading in SuperBASIC
I'll just add a little note of caution here as regards a warning in the Toolkit 2 manual of what can happen with un-numbered lines in a BASIC file on some QDOS ROMs, which is also mentioned in Simon Goodwin's ROM bugs articles in QL World. "If you try to RUN a BASIC program from a DO file, then...

Re: Z88 power supply

Re: Dynamic program loading in SuperBASIC
I suppose it depends on not adding too many "progress" lines in between lines of SuperBASIC so as not to have too much effect on loading times.

Re: Video cable compatible with all Scart TVs
Probably not very relevant here, I don't know, there was sometimes an issue if a Gold/Super Gold Card was involved. One eBay supplier made different SCART monitor leads for QLs with Gold Cards or Super Gold Cards (maybe both, can't remember). They use the CSYNC as ram refresh signal, so squashing i...

Re: Video cable compatible with all Scart TVs
Oops, minutes after my first post I remembered the cables I mentioned came from Retro Computer Shack: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260814300633?itmmeta=01HXVXAG2TNC9CYCWE1HC1VWTB&hash=item3cb9be65d9:g:XKsAAOSwUUVmEQx0&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0BIob9t%2F4ZgE7l%2BnXFvOWu18spedVFOOaOceagACWPNJcF1sLy%...

Re: Pointer Absolute Position
To show how this could be used in a "real" program, I wrote a program called PtrPostn (pointer position), which both beeps when pointer is at the edges of the screen and when you press CTRL P it highlights the current pointer position by drawing some animated circles around the pointer ori...
Re: Sick Q68
Bought a Q68 about a year ago, fired it up and everything worked. Couldn't play for long as I was in the middle of a change of location. So it got packed up again ready for the move. Finally got time to sort my new computer room out last week. My Q68 has decided that it doesn't like any of my CF ca...
