Re: Dynamic program loading in SuperBASIC
As the QL does not know the number of lines in the listing until it is fully loaded using a similar mechanism could not be programmed too easily. However, a ROM routine could be incorporated within the LOAD routine to calculate the % loaded based on the byte size of the program / bytes loaded. The o...

LED Cable Clamps
Does anyone have a spare cable clamp for the 6 LED wires - or know of a source?
A customer has just asked me and I don't have one - they are an odd connector

Re: Dynamic program loading in SuperBASIC
That is indeed a very interesting finding - I had not realised that lines without line numbers are executed as soon as the loading process reaches that line. The discussion on the Spanish forums is well worth a read and the uploaded video shows it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ppv3Ued5jxM

Sorry.
Not in touch with anyone from those days, unless they're on here or Facebook.
Agree it would be cool to put those adventures back in circulation.

Re: QL Cartridges lot on Ebay
Rockfall, Sector X and Squidgy Around the World are all freeware and already on the Sinclair QL Homepage: https://dilwyn.qlforum.co.uk/games/index.html That helps as they are excellent games in my opinion Star Cruiser is also on that page. Aftermath of the Asimovian Disaster appears on https://dilwy...

Re: QL Cartridges lot on Ebay
Recently a large cartridge lot of QL Software was sold on Ebay for a crazy price. It had some titles I have never seen, like Anelpum Quat, Macsporran's Lament, G_G system, Astro, Orbiting stars, Uncle Loonie. By any chance, is the buyer on this forum? s-l1600.png Most of those programs look to be e...

Re: QL Cartridges lot on Ebay
Please do! And post the programs! Thank you! May have to wait until this weekend - I need to dig out the disks and drives and I've got a week from hell, work wise :( Do we know the status of McSporran, in terms of whether we can place it in the wild? Anyone still in touch with the authors? Anelpum ...
