I haven't all the posts but could it be possible to use your PCB and design an adapter board with the socket for CPU and 8301 routed to a DIN41612, this instead of having to reroute the PCB?

I have built a couple of Leons design so 832KB total RAM and thru put connector or angled one for IDE. Will have to verify if it’s possible to fit an angle...

I think you should try using a finer sand paper and water.
