Re: Listing unset variables

Silvesters Extension allows for a channel to list the unset keywords. So I think it is not necessary to sort the output. I's a great task to write such a program (Thank You). Just list the output to a file channel and afterwards sort the file with a suitable program. EDIT: Remember you have PIPE-dev...

Re: My homepage (German) has been updated

Hi, I was looking to port Python to the QL, what is the best version to attempt this. Or maybe write a QL library that could run S*Basic programmes. Hi Derek, I would recommend the current stable version. Don't use Python 2. It is still often used, as Python 3 is not fully compatible with Python 2,...

Re: 3D TEXT Demo

I was running it (after correcting line 110) in uQLx on Windows 10 with WSL+XMing X11 server and Minerva 1.98.

It runs quite well. Speed is about 70% as on QPC2.

Re: Listing unset variables

There is an error in the name initialisation list: name dc.w 1 ;one procedure (must be 2 so that BP.INIT reserves enough space in the name table ; cause name is longer than 7 chars) "The approximate number" of procedures or functions is used to reserve internal table space. It should be ex...

My homepage (German) has been updated

The first GUI-version of the calculator with expression parser in my Python course is now released. The Beta version has been online for sometime. It worked, but there were a lot of mistakes in the explanation. I excuse for for that. http://peter-sulzer.bplaced.net/htdocs/calcgui01.jpg Screenshot

Re: (Nearly) solved: FuNction which tests if a variable is set

What are you "making of" my simple script ;-) It is working fine for me! So don't bother. My next problem: It is possible to run the current MasterSpy on high resolution screens. Just set the screen size (interactivly) in MasterSpy. Afterwards delete the "safety" window (this wit...

Re: Coming soon (in another world)

Why can we not run uQLx on Android? I think it's easy (sorry haven't the time currentliy). It's a Linux System, and there are X-Servers available for it. Have a look to AndrOpen Office and here (official Website) . It is the normal Desktop version slightly ported with the help of a X11-server. I use...

Re: (Nearly) solved: FuNction which tests if a variable is set

I can confirm that PARUSE works outside procedures. Of course there are alternatives but it's a TK2 function which is readily available on QDOS/Minerva and built-in on SMSQ/E. Yes, I have tested it. PARUSE is also working outside functions. Unfortunately it has a bug (on Minerva and SMSQ/E): It (so...
