BASIC_INDEX%() and SBASIC/MultiBASIC
The SuperBASIC SBASCIC Reference Manual says there is TurboFix_bin to make the BASIC_INDEX% function compatible with SBASIC and MultiBASIC. Dilwyn's Download Page for Turbo states that TurboFix is no more needed for current versions of Turbo Toolkit. I have tried Turbo Toolkit v3.44 and the patched ...

Re: Minerva4Q68 SD Card Setup
I like 1024x768x4. If I compare it to Windows, it looks much nicer AND it's Dark Mode ;-) @Jan: Because your problems with your eyes. Do your use a native 1024x768 Display? Here even on a 1280x1024 Display Q68 looks good with 1024x768 and 512x256 (Minerva). Of course I'm seeking for a native 1024x76...

Re: Does anyone know where I can obtain MetaComCo BCPL?
I just have had a look into my original BCPL Development Kit manual, but the "hello world" seems not to be included.

Windows 10: Add a(nother) keyboard layout
Since two month there is a new section "Tipps und Tricks" on my homepage. Currently only one article: Add a(nother) keyboard layout to Windows 10 (switchable with e.g. left Alt-Shift). The article is available in German and English. It's especially useful for German keyboards because with ...

Re: Does anyone know where I can obtain MetaComCo BCPL?
I think I have the original Metacomco BCPL development kit (at least I have the original blue manual, looks similar as Metacomco C). Unfortunately I have not the time to look in my big QL carton (as a lot of other cartons are above it ;-)) to look for the whole kit. But as far as I can remember, the...

Re: Joystick Ports Missing
But if you are okay tinkering with a poorly documented piece of hardware, please feel free to PM me. qlbase5.jpg Thanks Peter for the offer. But my hardware skills are now very limited and (more important) I don't currently have the time. I not even have the time to explore my two Q68. I've just bo...

Re: QTalk - does anyone have it/seen it?
Hi ones' complement, We just need to know the serial protocol, the Pico just needs to emulate it, so the QTalk hardware may not be required, only the software. Is there a list of games etc that supported it? one's complement wrote: oc> ..., only the software. ... Does anyone have this software? Then...

QTalk - does anyone have it/seen it?
Does anyone possess (or have [had] seen) the (I'm not sure, if the following name is correct, must have a look into the advertises of QL World) QTalk Device (and its speech synthesizing software)? It was connected to a SER port and has an own (virtual?) device driver for this SER port, so you simply...
