Block uses pixel coordinates, not graphics coordinates. And with square pixels that looks fine. It would look distorted on an original QL however.

Re: Graphic drawing Qemulator/QPC2

Ahh, thanks for that, Tobias. I knew there was a fix, and spent a long time looking for it in all the wrong places yesterday. G_RATIO is now part of my boot. Thanks to whoever wrote it.. Jens Wildgruber paid some money for the development of the Aurora graphics drivers and as a favor to him I intro...

Re: Graphic drawing Qemulator/QPC2

To elaborate on the points already made: the QL had a 512x256 pixel array (2:1) on a 4:3 screen. So the pixel had to be rectangular with a longer side in the y direction. On PCs pixel are (almost) always square, so now you have the alternative of either drawing a circle that occupies the same pixels...

Re: SD_SETPA failes on SMSQ with Invalid Parameter

You always call "do_trap1" instead of "do_trap3". No idea how you get any channel this way (should be trap#2)?

Re: Correct Maths Stack usage (CHRIX/RESRI)

Looks good to me Martyn. If you have qmon/qmon2, put a breakpoint on it and see what's in A1 before you load it from BV_RIP. It won't be the stack! ;) Qmon used to allow a trap #15 in your code to jump into the qmon monitor. That got removed from qmon2 for some reason. A big omission in my opinion....

Mice and mouse queues...

How can non-SMSQ/E pointer environment run on Atari? http://qlwiki.qlforum.co.uk/doku.php?id=qlwiki:stql_emulator There were QL emulators for Atari long before the development of SMSQ/E. I'd even venture the guess that SMS2 and subsequently SMSQ/E were developed on an Atari.

Re: Some very sad news, the passing of Lee Privett / Mr Navigator

I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm not sure I've ever met him personally in the past, but we had a short exchange only 3 weeks ago and I was a subscriber to his blog "Back 2 the QL" for years  Looking through my archives he was also one of a few people who donated money after I released...

Re: Mice and mouse queues...

I wonder about the "s" in drivers. Which mice except QIMI does the PE support? (Not talking SMSQ/E of course.) Sandy SuperQBoard, Atari, Thor. Isn't QIMI the Atari mouse interface? QIMI adapts Atari-style mice for the QL, but the driver I meant was for native Atari hardware, which interfa...

Re: No fun funzipping

Have a look at bzcat/bzip2, it's specifically for compressing/decompressing streams of data. I've used it to stream huge amounts using SBasic before.
