Re: SuperCharge Decompiler

While working on the decompiler, I have noticed that SuperCharge seems to treat '==' (almost equals) for integers and floats the same as '='. '==' for strings is not a problem. Is '=' and '==' for integers and floats any different in SuperBASIC? I can't see the point of '==' for numbers, either they...

Re: SuperCharge Decompiler

Rich Mellor suggested a few programs for me to try. Mostly still commercial, but Nucleon Programmers Assistant by Pyramide, and Concept 3D graphics drawing. Are available from Dilwyn Jones web site, if you fancy having a go. So far, apart from the original Tridim, I have been using 3D Slime, and Typ...

Re: SuperCharge Decompiler

Something went a bit wrong with the first upload. The DisCharge_bas program got corrupted. Here is another go... This is a slightly updated version of DisCharge_bas that now knows about, code array indexs 53, == (string) 183, colour stipples (triple) plus a few other bug fixes As before rename and u...

SuperCharge Decompiler

This is a walk through on how to use my SuperCharge decompiler. This is not a full release of the Decompiler, as it is still a work in progress, and it doesn't know how to handle all commands. This worked, walk through shows you the steps involved in generating a BASIC program from a SuperCharged ex...

Re: Tridim - the 3D modelling program

Can I ask you to have your disassembler to see how it works? Even if incomplete or need manual intervention could be source of inspiration, or even, by any chance, you wrote any documentation of how you did it. Last but not least, let me take this opportunity to thank you for IpNet driver, I am usi...

Re: Tridim - the 3D modelling program

Here is a copy of my disassembly of Tridim that you could use to compare with Turbo files. It shows where I have identified various bits, and hand decompiled various parts of the coded version of the SuperBASIC program. Some of the comments I have made may be incorrect, as well as some of my hand de...

Re: Tridim - the 3D modelling program

I have compared a Supercharge and Turbo compiled programme, the SuperBasic commands look to appear at the same point. There maybe be some sort of common data structure between the two. Since Turbo is supposed to be an enhanced Supercharge Compiler. From my investigations, The list of SuperBASIC com...

Re: Tridim - the 3D modelling program

Hi Martin, I was trying to reverse engineer the the Turbo compile process, by disassembling the Turbo object code and produce the intermediate code, then make a look up table to list all the Superbasic commands with links to the libraries. You seem to of done a better job than me. I don't know how ...

Re: Pyramide Software - Some Freeware

Hi Martin, Great work, I have had a quick look at the Manip and updated Tridim programme. I was interested in this comment: I have decompiled the original Tridim program back to SuperBASIC and made it work in SMSQ/E. Did you decompile a Supercharged programme. Yes. At the moment the decompiler can ...

Re: Pyramide Software - Some Freeware

This is Tridim 3 for SMSQ/E systems. I have decompiled the original Tridim program back to SuperBASIC and made it work in SMSQ/E. This version could do with a little more work, but I am releasing it for testing and feedback. Things I know that need more work are: System 4 views, inverting the screen...
